Anney’s Closet is a “free store” for women who are transitioning to a new, usually independent living situation. Anney's Closet "shoppers" are often fleeing violence, domestic abuse or other unsafe living situations, or aging out of foster care. Women in need of assistance in outfitting their new homes are referred to us.

We provide cash awards to assist women to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as books, tuition, and transportation, and childcare.

SIVW’s Dream It Be It Conference is an annual full-day event that provides participants with the information and resources they want and need to be successful. Designed specifically for students in secondary school, Dream It Be It provides access to professional role models, career education, and the resources to live their dreams.

The Soroptimist Leadership Institute (SLI) is designed to teach leadership concepts to women. As an SLI intern, you’ll be invited to attend workshops on topics designed to help you become a respected leader within your community.

Stella’s Suppers provide social interaction for seniors who might not otherwise have a social network. Held twice per year, more than 70 seniors enjoy the company of new friends, toe-tapping entertainment, and a catered 3-course meal.
